Original Scratchboard Art
After creating my first scratchboard piece as a student, I felt this spark inside me that felt like an affirmation. At that moment, I knew this was my thing. I was good at this and I enjoyed it. So, I picked up more scratchboard and continued to push on. To this day, every piece I work on poses a new challenge. I have to constantly ask myself, how can I make marks on this board to represent the textures I’m seeing?

When I decided to start selling art my art, these pieces are where I started. So many people had asked for their own scratchboard pieces over the years, and so I decided to start making prints of my various original pieces. That way, more than one customer can enjoy original artwork, and if your budget doesn’t quite stretch to buy an original piece, the prints are a much more affordable option.
